Turkey Brining as mentioned in our Turkey Tips list, is a great way to infuse
flavor and ‘lock’ in moisture while roasting. Our Bird Brine mix is the easiest
and tastiest way to brining. Simply bring one of our containers of Bird Brine
mix to a simmer in 1 quart of water. Then line a 5-gallon container with a large
brining or oven-roasting bag. Place turkey in bag. Add just simmered Bird Brine
mixture & 6 quarts (24 cups) water. Tie bag; if turkey is not submerged, weight it
with a plate. Refrigerate 24 hours, flipping turkey once. Then rinse, pat dry and cook as usual.
