Thanksgiving provides us many joyous moments each year, but one of our favorite parts are all the leftovers and we found a delicious idea for all that leftover stuffing/dressing you may have… Stuffing Balls!
Shaped like meatballs and perfect for dipping into that leftover gravy as well. These make a super easy holiday weekend snack for the kids or guests staying over or serve them as a fun side dish with your leftover turkey creations.
You can just use your usual stuffing/dressing recipe but we love using our Bouquet Garni herb blend for a special flavor boost!
INGREDIENTS:
5-6 Cups of leftover stuffing or dressing
1 large egg, beaten
** bread crumbs if your leftover dressing is very moist
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Line a baking sheet with foil paper and lightly grease the foil for easy clean up.
In a large mixing bowl add leftover stuffing or dressing and fluff with a fork. Then add the beaten egg
to the mixture. It should be sticky enough to hold together. If too moist add some breadcrumbs.
Shape mixture into golf ball sized balls. Dampen hands with cold water if necessary to help keep the mixture
from sticking so badly to your hands.
Place stuffing balls on prepared baking sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes or until set.
Serve with a side of gravy for dipping!
