This fun appetizer featuring Wind & Willow Hot Dips is a delicious party dish that you’ll want to make every season not just for Halloween!
Just a few easy steps and your family or party will be Halloween dipping in no time!
INGREDIENTS:
1 Wind & Willow Hot Dip Mix (we used the Loaded Cheddar Hot Dip Mix)
1 block of cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1 can of refrigerated Pizza Dough
1 Tablespoon of butter melted
DIRECTIONS:
Prepare the Wind & Willow Hot Dip according to instructions, utilizing the cream cheese and the sour cream.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Spray your pan with non-stick spray. A full-size cast-iron skillet is the best option BUT you can use any baking dish, circular will give you the best effect for the Jack O Lantern look!
Unroll the pizza dough and first cut out your face pieces and bake first on a parchment-lined pan for approx 7 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool off to the side, which you’ll use at the end.
Then proceed to cut the rest of the dough into 3″ long strips, you’ll roll them up and place them around the edge of the pan.
Then fill the center of the pan with the hot dip.
Bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until the dough edge starts to get golden brown. For the last 5 minutes, brush the dough with the melted butter and sprinkle the shredded cheese over the dip filling.
Once done, take out of the oven and position the face pieces you previously baked.
TIP: if using one of the sweet varieties of hot dips, roll your dough-roll ups in cinnamon sugar or Pumpkin Dust mixed with some extra sugar, prior to placing in pan.
