Grandma’s Best Sweet Corn Recipe

Nothing beats summer sweet corn, fresh from the stalk especially cooking it old school like Grandma did.
But you can make it the best by using this old time recipe.
The secret is milk!

By boiling your corn in water with 1 cup of milk and a stick of butter you’ll find your corn to be the sweetest, richest bite ever that you won’t even care what else is being served for dinner.

6-8 ears of corn, husks and silks removed and cut in half (if desired)
1 cup milk
1 stick butter

Fill a large pot half full with water.
Bring water to a boil.
Add milk and butter. Add corn and reduce heat to medium high.
Simmer corn for 6 to 8 minutes.
Remove corn from cooking liquid and its ready to serve.
