AND we can not rave enough about this super simple and crazy delicious Crockpot Philly Cheese Steak Recipe!
Not only is it easy to prepare with almost no mess, it’s also low carb and Keto friendly.
CROCKPOT PHILLY CHEESESTEAK
2 pounds beef sirloin, sliced
6–8 slices provolone cheese
1 large onion, sliced
2 bell peppers, sliced
4 ounces mushrooms, sliced (optional)
1 tablespoon butter or ghee
2 tablespoon Philly Steak Seasoning
1/2 cup low-sodium beef broth
Cut up all the veggies and the meat (although sometimes you can find already thin sliced beef at your butcher’s case)
Then add all the ingredients to the slow cooker EXCEPT the provolone cheese. Stir to mix well.
Cook on high 2-3 hours, low 4-6.
Stir to mix again.
You can either add the cheese directly onto your sandwich or you can add provolone cheese slices in a thin layer across the top of the mixture and then cook an additional 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serve on hoagie buns as a sandwich or you can also serve over rice or noodles!
**You can also use chicken or pork meat for this recipe!
