Grains of Paradise

Grains of Paradise tastes like a combination of Pepper, Ginger and Cardamom. Use as a Pepper substitute. Less irritating to digestion than black pepper. Also used in flavoring some beers, gins, and Norwegian akvavit. TV's Alton Brown uses it on Apple Pie. Also known as melegueta pepper, alligator pepper, Guinea grains or Guinea pepper. Salt Free.
