Beef Barley Soup Mix

Delicious soup from Thompson Farms. Homemade soup, filled with hearty barley. Beef Barley Soup Mix is easy to make and sodium free.

Recipe:

1 package Beef Barley Soup Mix
½ lb. of lean ground beef
1 14 ½ oz. can of diced tomatoes
3 beef bouillon cubes
8 cups water

In Soup pot brown meat, add soup packet, tomatoes, 8 cups water, 3 beef bouillon cubes. Cover, bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer 1-1 ½ hours, stirring occasionally. Add additional water if soup becomes too think. Remove bay leaf before serving. Makes approximately 8 servings.
