Spearmint leaf is often used as a tea, or as a added flavor to black tea. These leaves are also used as a lamb seasoning in Indian cooking. Spearmint leaf is reported as a great antioxidant, digestion aid, increases blood circulation, and contains astringent compounds that shrink inflamed tissues.
