Description
Tarragon has a flavor reminiscent of anise. Very aromatic so use sparingly. Used in sauces, such as Bernaise, salads, chicken, meats, fish, egg and tomato dishes. Important flavoring of tarragon vinegar and oil. Excellent sprinkled over salad greens. Popular in French cooking.
This herb is my favorite of them all. I LOVE it in vegetable soup.
